1. The Body Shop Tinted Moisturizer with Kinetin
This is a product from two years ago. I was just lucky enough to purchase a new bottle a few weeks ago. I can rarely find an overall cover-up product that doesn't make my skin breakout. It's not too thick or smelly either. I was told by the sales that it works as a concealer as well. I haven't really tried to cover anything up with it so I don't know if it does that well or not. I use this as a primer. I probably shouldn't though... when I have philosophy's the present.
2. ettusais Zero Pore Oil Free(Oil or Dry Block) Foundation
I bought this when I was in Hong Kong during the summer. I've always wanted to try this Japanese brand. I was originally looking for some undereye coverup but the sales lady did a good job at promoting things so I ended up getting a couple of coverups and mascara. I'll probably review those later. Well, this oil free foundation compact comes in a really nice case(the sales lady gave me the case for free when you're supposed to actually buy it). The foundation comes in two types of forms targetted to oily and dry skin. I got the dry skin one and it works like magic on my skin. It gives me a really nice matte finish. As if I'm not wearing any makeup or something.
3. Kanebo T'ESTIMO Four Quad Sparkle Eyeshadow
I've always loved this Japanese brand. I love the model who does the commercials. This brand is all about the youthful and mature sparkle. Usually sparkle is for those little kids but in Japan, it can be used on anyone. What I love most about this quad is that they give you a combo of colours that can be used to together or solo. The quad comes with three shimmery eyeshadows and one thick creamy dark liner type. It also comes with two dual headed brushes so you can custom make your look. The case is also really pretty. This product is really popular in Japan but it's no longer being sold as a newer version has come out.
4. Tweezerman Folding Ilashcomb
Nobody likes clumpy lashes. Everybody likes clean, long and seperated lashes. When I bought this, I thought I was going to poke myself in the eye. It seperates my lashes really well. The thing I hate the most is cleaning the "teeth". It's really hard to get it all out once it's dry.
5. CARGO Duo Lipgloss
Remember this review? I haven't stopped using this lipgloss yet! It looks kind of disgusting in the above picture. I haven't really planned on how to finish the product.. I just stick my fingers in it now. I suppose I should get a lip brush.
6. ettusais gold eyelash curler
The same lady at the sales counter was extremely nice when I was there. She included quite a lot of things in my bag for free like this eyelash curler. I never got the different types of eyelash curlers out there. I just use what's given to me. I love the gold colour too! So blinging! Heard it was limited edition too.. only exclusive people can get this.
7. H&M mini hairclip
Retouching with your hair in way? That's impossible!
8. L'Oreal True Blend Super Blendable Concealer
If you don't get the right shade of concealer to mach your skin colour then you'll end up looking like a clown. That's why the True Blend line is really good. I personally don't like this particular concealer but I'm really trying to finish this one off. It's not reaaaally blendable as the product promises. I find it dries out quickly on my skin so I can't blend so what I'm left is a spot of stuff. Now I move fast when applying this product.
9. Bourjois Two-Tone Eyeliner Pencil
I just reviewed this product here.
10. L'Oreal Panoramic Curl Mascara(waterproof)
I bought this mascara randomly one day. I don't think I've ever found such a good mascara before. It really lengthens and curls my eyelashes. Not a lot of clump either. Now I only use the lash comb just to curl it even more. I also like how the brush is so small. It makes it so easy to control unlike those comb or big brush types.
11. CoverGirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner
You know, I just realized this was eyeliner when I checked the site just now. All along I thought it was a great brow pencil. It fills in my brows really well too. That's strange.. since I did find it in the brow section too. haha.
That's it! Reviews in a nutshell!
Note: I have sensitive skin that reacts to most face products including some mineral makeup. I'm not acne-prone but I do have some pinkish blemishes on my face. I also have combination skin.
