(33) Jiggle like some jelly!
Now putting aside that I had some bad stuff happen to me earlier this day, I actually managed to find a good style guide book at the bookstore. I was thinking of going with the well known magazine style guides but instead something caught my eye. Until this afternoon, I have never heard of Danica Lo or her books and work. I do remember spotting her in my Life & Style magazine where she and a panal of different stylist experts were talking about the celebrity style slip-ups. Among the style guides, her name stood out the most because I had seen early in the day. Maybe it was fate. haha. "How Not to Look Fat" is a great guide to pick things that flatter your body.
This book includes tips on all the items that a woman has in her closet. From tops to bottoms to accessories! The book also includes some makeup tips in how to make one slimmer! Everything is jam packed in this book with lots of humour and fun. It does have a down side though, not quite a lot of pictures. However, the images are provided are always very important like where the pockets on your jeans should be.
I have definetely learned quite a lot from reading through the book because this book was written by a woman who was once a plus sized model who understands what it feels to be fatty. She writes to accommodate people of not-so-average body shapes such as the apple or the pear. It's not always about the skinny! However with that being said, the book is aimed for all shapes and sizes as it does include tips for the skinnier and flat busted ladies out there. I would definitely check it out at the bookstore near you!
